Bio The Character Tsubaki Nakatsukasa Series: Soul Eater Gender: Female Age: 17-ish Species: Human Sexuality: Straight Appearance: Tsubaki is a tall well breasted willowy Asian. She has a kind face, almost always with a friendly smile towards everyone. Her long black hair held up in a high ponytail and she wears a slightly revealing sleeveless tan wrap-around dress that has a yellow star on her right breast and a black neck scarf over it. A large gray belt is looped twice around her waist and the high cut of her dress bares her whole right leg though it's covered by a black thigh high stocking. She wears with it off-white boots and opera (mid upper arm) length arm black and olive green striped arm warmers and elbow length off-white wrist/sweat guards with little black stars stitched onto them. Personality: Tsubaki is a lot (but not quite) like a normal Yamato Nadeshiko. The perfect 'ideal' Japanese woman who's follows and obeys the authority figure (in this case Black Star and Shinigami-sama). She's also quiet, loyal, domestic, wise, mature, and shows a subtle, but definite present, touch of iron, in that she's unwilling to let people hurt the one she care about. It's been said that Tsubaki's soul is "very co-operative and has a lot of space to accept people" meaning that her heart is large and very open to everyone. She'll accept them despite their physical or mental flaws and tries to help them in any way that she can. There is truly no evil bone in her body, she will harm no one unless they present themselves as an enemy to Black*Star and herself. Abilities: She's first and foremost Black*Star's Dark Demon Weapon. Thanks to her families weapon ability she can turn herself into different types of weapons such as a Kusarigama (a scythe attached to a chain), a Large Shuriken, a Smoke Bomb, a Ninjato (short handle ninja used knife) and most recently a Demon Blade, which is originally her older brothers form (however Black Star can only use this mode for a very short amount of time). She can also turn herself into a copy of Black Star and turn her own ponytail into a single sided version of her chain scythe when she needs to defend herself when she's alone. However with the reduction of her abilities, she can't hold her forms for long stretches of time. The usual being a few days or so now is around a few hours at best. There's also a defiant lag between switching between forms and it tires her out much faster than usual. When it comes to Black*Star she's also the only one he'd listen to with more than half an ear. There are times she can get him to not do stupid things where others can't. Weakness: Her very open personality is a weakness at times. She trusts nearly anyone and sometimes foolishly expects that trust back from them. Tsubaki's also completely devoted to Black*Star and frets sometimes constantly that he'll leave her at a moment's notice. She's always near him throughout everything and being apart makes her worry more than she should be. And lastly, there are times she can be unsure of herself, vastly afraid if she's doing things wrong. Manhattanite or outsider?: Outsider from an alternative Earth History: Tsubaki comes from a family with the ability to shape shift into weapons. She grew up with her only older brother, Masamune having a decently happy relationship with him despite that she only would play with him things he'd like to play. However when it came to the time to inherit the families shape-shifting ability, Tsubaki would take most of forms leaving Masamune with only the Demon Blade mode. He begins to resent her, seeing how it was the younger child to receive what he originally should have and vows now to become a Kishin, a demon god that creates chaos and become better than her. She enters the school Shibusen to track him down, and it's there where she meets Black*Star. Being the only person to watch his performance to the end, she gains his approval and that's the start of their long journey to make her a Death Scythe Blade, trying (and mostly failing) to complete their goal of getting Tsubaki 99 evil human souls and a witch soul. |
